    Our goal at the Your Patient Advisor is to ensure that you have a successful procedure. Approximately 25-30% of patients are not clean for a colonoscopy, which means you have to either reschedule your procedure or schedule another procedure sooner than the recommended guidelines. The Your Patient Advisor provides:<br><br>1. Preparation program that is customized just for you, to ensure that your bowel is cleaned out effectively and less invasively for a successful colonoscopy.<br>2. The most tolerated preparation program that is half the volume (1/2 Gallon), when compared to some prescription medications.<br>3. Easy-to-understand directions that contain photos that make the preparation process uncomplicated.<br>4. Beneficial reminders and helpful tips regarding your appointment including medication reminders, appointment reminders and dietary information.<br>5. Educational videos to help you feel more informed about the procedure.<br>6.   • 2. Are the products included in the prep gluten free?

    Yes, all products are gluten free.

  • 3. Why doesn't MEDICAID, MEDICARE or other insurance company pay for the prep medication?

    The products provided in the preparation package are over-the-counter medications, meaning they do not require being purchased with a prescription from a pharmacy. Most insurance companies only reimburse prescription medications.

  • 4. Do I have to be home to sign for my package?

    No, the package is delivered US Priority mail, and does not require a signature.

  • 5. How do I pay for the prep medications?

    The prep medications purchased through the Your Patient Advisor can be paid for with any major credit card or by electronic check.

  • 6. Does my insurance company or flexible spending account cover the cost of the prep medications?

    Typically, the products are not covered by insurance. We can try to run your flexible spending card through our system, however even if our system accepts the transaction, sometimes your insurance company may challenge the charge.

  • 7. What happens to my credit card information after it is charged for your fee?

    All of our transactions are placed using a secure server. Your credit card information is not stored within our database and is encrypted and can no longer be seen once the order is placed.

  • 8. How are you affiliated with my gastroenterologist?

    Your Patient Advisor has partnered with your doctor to help you with the colonoscopy preparation process. The information we provide to you has been given to us by your doctor.

  • 9. Can I pick up the prep medications from your place of business?

    We operate as a mail order business, and unfortunately we are not set up to have customers purchase products on-site.

  • 10. Can I return my prep medications for a refund?

    All sales are final. In the event of a cancelled procedure, you can return your purchase for up to 30 days from the purchase date. Returned products must be in the condition you received them and in the original packaging. A refund will be applied once the items are returned, less a $5 restocking fee.
